Tax Benefit Roszkowski Murawski Tax Advisors Limited Liability Company based in Warsaw respects your right to privacy Takes special care to protect your personal data and applies appropriate technological and legal solutions to prevent interference with your privacy. Below we present our privacy and cookie policy principle.

I. Privacy policy

Personal Data Administrator

The Administrator of your personal data is Tax Benefit Roszkowski Murawski Tax Advisors Ltd. (hereinafter: Tax Benefit) based in Warsaw (address: Grochowska Street 306/308, building E, 1st floor, PL-03-840 Warsaw). The data collected by Tax Benefit are processed in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016. concerning the protection of individuals with regard to
the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (referred to as ‘GDPR’), and the Act of May 10, 2018. on the protection of personal data and other legal provisions concerning the protection of personal data.

Scope and purposes of personal data processing

As part of its activities, Tax Benefit collects and processes personal data:

  1. for purposes arising from the legally justified interests pursued by Tax Benefit as the data administrator, i.e., to provide services to clients, respond to client inquiries, and inform clients about changes in legal regulations – based on Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR
  2. for the purpose of executing contracts entered into by Tax Benefit with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other entities, including, among others, contacting representatives and employees of Tax Benefit's clients, contractors, and suppliers, and other entities – based on Article 6 (1) 1 (b) of the GDPR
  3. for marketing purposes, including sending newsletters, information about events (scope of data: first name, last name, email) – based on the consent given, Article 6 (1) 1 (a) of the GDPR
  4. for the purpose of sending commercial information electronically in accordance with Article 10 (2) of the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means of July 18, 2002. (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1219, as amended), including sending newsletters (scope of data: first name, last name, email) – Article 6 (1) 1 (a) of the GDPR
  5. for the purpose of employing individuals interested in working with Tax Benefit – based on, respectively, Article 6 (1) 1 (a, b, c) of the GDPR
  6. to fulfill the legal obligations incumbent upon Tax Benefit – based on Article 6 (1) (c) of the GDPR.

Period of personal data processing

Processing of your personal data is carried out on a voluntary basis. However, in the case of entering into a contract with Tax Benefit, providing and processing data is necessary for the execution of the contract. Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the contract until the expiration of the limitation periods for claims arising from the non-performance or improper performance of the aforementioned contract. Copies of written opinions, reports, and statements made on your behalf in matters of tax obligations, as well as advice given to you, will be stored for a period of 5 years. In the event of providing an answer to your question, your data will be processed no longer than is
necessary to provide you with an answer, and after this time, they may be processed for the period of limitation of any potential claims. All data processed for accounting purposes and for tax reasons will be processed for 5 years, counted from the end of the calendar year in which the tax obligation arose. After the expiration of the aforementioned periods, the data will be deleted or anonymized.

Right to lodge a complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Other rights

You have:

  • the right to request access to your personal data from Tax Benefit
  • the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing of your data
  • the right to data portability
  • in case of consent – the right to withdraw consent at any time (however, this does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).

We note that some of these rights – in connection with the performance of the contract, especially for the provision of tax advisory services – may not apply.

Transfer of personal data to other entities

Recipients of your personal data may include, in particular: couriers, external service providers (e.g., IT service providers), entities authorized under legal regulations (government authorities, state services, courts).

our personal data are processed at the Tax Benefit headquarters. Personal data are not transferred to countries and international organizations outside the European Union (exception see II. Cookies Policy point 12). In the event of the transfer of personal data to third countries or international organizations outside the European Union, Tax Benefit will apply appropriate measures to ensure the security of your personal data.

No profiling

Your personal data are not subject to profiling as one of the forms of automated processing of personal data.

II. Cookie policy

    1. When the User uses our website, data concerning the User is automatically collected:
      IP address, domain name, browser type,
      operating system type. These data may be collected through cookies and the Google Analytics system.
    2. Cookies are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Service User and are intended for use on the Service’s websites. Cookies typically
      contain the name of the website from which they originate, the duration of their storage on the end device, and a unique number.
    3. The entity placing information in the form of cookies (so-called cookies) and other similar technologies on the end user’s device (e.g., computer, laptop, smartphone, Smart TV) and accessing them is Tax Benefit.
    4. Cookies are not used for identifying the User, and the User’s identity is not determined based on them.
    5. The Tax Benefit website may place a cookie in the browser if the browser allows it. It should be emphasized that the browser
      allows the website to access only cookies placed by that website, not cookies placed by other websites.
    6. The cookies mechanism is not used to obtain any information about users of the service or to track their navigation. The cookies
      used on the website do not store any personal data or other information collected from users and are used for statistical purposes.
    7. You express your consent to store or access cookies by the Service Provider on your device through the settings of the browser installed on your device. “If you wish to delete existing cookies from your device or block the automatic handling of cookies, you can do so by using the options in your browser to make the appropriate settings. You can use our website without using cookies; however, in some individual situations, there may be limitations while using the website.
    8. Tax Benefit uses cookies and other similar technologies for the following purposes:
      • providing services;
      • customizing the content of websites and applications to user preferences and optimizing the use of websites; e.g.,
        cookies allow, in particular, to recognize the user’s device and display a website tailored to their individual needs;
      • creating statistics that help understand how users use websites, allowing for the improvement of their structure and content.
    9. Due to the lifespan of cookies and similar technologies, we use two main
      types of these files:

      • session cookies – temporary files stored on the user’s end device until logging out, leaving the website and applications, or disabling the software (web browser);
      • persistent cookies – stored on the user’s end device for the time specified in the parameters of the cookies or until they are deleted by the user.
    10. Due to the purpose served by cookies and other similar technologies, we use the following types of them:
      • necessary for the operation of the service and applications – enabling the use of our services, e.g., authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication
      • cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect abuses in authentication
      • performance cookies – allowing the collection of information about the way websites and applications are used
      • functional cookies – allowing the ‘remembering’ of user-selected settings and the personalization of the user interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region, font size, website appearance, and more
      • statistical cookies – used to collect statistics about websites and
        applications.
    11. Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer and enable the analysis of your use of the website. Information generated by cookies regarding your use of our website is transferred to Google’s server in the USA and stored there.
    12. We would like to point out that you can prevent the recording and transfer of data generated by Google Analytics cookies to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google. To do this, you should download and install the browser plugin available at the following link:
